Charleston Lake is located in South Eastern Ontario, just northeast of Gananoque. Natives once sheltered under rock overhangs on the shores of this coldwater lake north of the St. Lawrence River, then wealthy Victorian cottagers summered here. The rugged look of the north blended with the south still draws hikers and canoeists to these scenic shores and winding trails.

The lake is approximately a 45 minute drive from Kingston, 25 minute drive from Brockville and an 1½ hr drive from Ottawa.
